Artistic interventions in a garden as a metaphor for and moment of fertility, the organic growth of ideas and accessible visions within a perspective of evolution and freedom. A reflection of places through their capacity to evoke infinite narrations, the rediscovery of magic and knowledge in nature. Works that may or may not offer definitive points of view or ways that most would consider safe to travel; ones that move from outer limits to reach the center, they tend to camouflage themselves, choosing elements, interpretations and means of expression that reestablish essence from unexpected, rarely frontal, perspectives. Works closely connected to the spirit of the garden, its life and its needs.
Venice Gardens Foundation has invited Maria Thereza Alves, Jimmie Durham and Mona Hatoum to participate.
